Rebecca
Rebecca is an amazing massage therapist. I first met her when she was still in massage school, and I had the privilege of experiencing one of her first massages. To say I was awe-struck by the quality of her massage is an understatement. As a student, her quality of touch was better than any massage I had ever experienced. Now, as an experienced massage therapist her skills have grown by leaps and bounds. Truly, without exaggeration, Rebecca is one of the best massage therapists in the industry.
Rebecca is modest and humble and would never make those claims about herself. She has a sweet and gentle soul who loves to help others feel peaceful and whole. When she walks into the massage room she enters a state of mind that is infused with life, and her loving intent flows through her fingers tips like she is channeling peace and ease from the heavens above.
No one is as versatile as Rebecca. She can provide the softest most gentle touch or apply a pressure that feels like the weight of a mountain. Her fingers are precise, methodical and strong. She has an endurance unlike any massage therapist I have ever encountered. While most massage therapists can only perform three or four massages in a day, I’ve seen her perform as many as eight. From session to session her strength, skill and healing touch doesn’t wane, whether you receive a massage from her early in the day or are her last client, the quality is always the same. Truly, once again without exaggeration, she is amazing!
What do her massages feel like? One of the first things I noticed about her approach is how nurturing she is. I learned a lot about quality of touch by experiencing her massages. The way she applies pressure, or even how she touches your hand or arm to move it is pleasurable. The sensation is incredibly peaceful, it’s like the emotional safety you experience when your mother lovingly tucked you into bed at night as a child.
The way she moves her hand is so smooth, present and calculating. It’s like she taps into the essence of pleasure, peace and safety in every second of the session. Additionally, her intuition is impeccable. Like a magnet she will find all your muscle knots, sore spots and tight bands. She is great at everything she does, but her leg work is incredible. The way she approaches the thighs and calves is so effective, especially if you love the “hurts so good” kind of sensation.
Rebecca does more than Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage, she is also trained in Lymphatic Drainage. This is an ultra-light pressure massage that helps flush out the body’s extracellular waste. This is great for people who have recently had a surgery, are on a weight loss journey, or feel bloated and swollen. I used her lymphatic drainage massage when I had a pinched nerve, and it helped reduce some of the edema around my brachial plexus, which as a result reduced the extreme pain and discomfort I was experiencing.
